About Equine Vet Services

Equine Vet Services is a locally owned and operated company servicing the Townsville and surrounding areas. Dr Sarah Townsend opened Equine Vet Services in April of 2020 after having some time off to grow her family. After 2 years of working 2 jobs, Dr Sarah decided it was time to go out on her own, and share her passion for preventative veterinary care, to keep your horses as healthy as can be. Dr Sarah has a special interest in Equine Dentistry and over the last 8 years has attended multiple courses and programs to further her knowledge, and now provides both routine and advanced dental services for horses. In July of 2022 Sarah will sit her membership exams in Equine Dentistry through the Australian and New Zealand College for Veterinary Scientists.

Sarah is also organised and reliable in her practice. If she is running late she will always text and let me know.
